What are the different types of plastic engine covers available?

Plastic skin covers are also classified according to the type of material. They are waterproof to protect the skin, and prevent anything from getting stuck to the ground.

On the other end of the type, plastic engine covers are made from polyethylene terephthalate (PET), which is a more resistant and environmentally friendly material, such as those used for car tires. On the other note, this is a harder- resilient plastic engine cover and may be made from a heat-sensitive material.
